Burqa dress is not a form of Islamic culture. We will give full cooperation to remove that dress. But, the National Freedom Front's media spokesman, Mohamed Muzammil, said that the government should not try to cover up the incidents that took place after the series of attacks on Burqa.

The fundamentalists attack on Sunday was not aimed only at Christian people, he said. He also pointed out that he considers it as a planned attack against the entire Sri Lankan population.

He said this at a media briefing held recently.
