by Our London Correspondent

( December 5, 2018, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) Britain’s Parliament defeated Theresa May’s minority Government for the third time by 311 to 293 votes, within one hour on Tuesday 4 December 2018, on “Contempt of Parliament” for not disclosing all highly sensitive advice provided by HM. Attorney General, Geoffrey Cox to her Cabinet, in contravention of longstanding practice.

This vote came on the heels of a five day debate ahead of the vote on the EU Brexit Deal on December 11, 2018.

Now the full and final legal advice to UK Cabinet by the Attorney General will be published in Parliament for scrutiny by MP’s before the debate on Brexit.
