Sri Lanka President Sirisena to dissolve the Parliament midnight?

( November 9, 2018, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena has decided to dissolve the parliament midnight to conduct the General Elections, as the best option to get rid of the political difficulties he is encountering, unconfirmed sources told the Sri Lanka Guardian.

The official of the Printing Department was ordered to stay till midnight.

Meanwhile, President Maithripala Sirisena today brought the Department of Government Printing under the purview of the Ministry of Defence.
In a Gazette issued a short while ago, the Government Printer and powers relating to Government printing and publication was brought under the Defence Ministry which comes under the President.

It was done by way of an Extraordinary Gazette notification issued a short while ago.
