(November 16, 2018, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Appointed Prime Mister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the newly installed government has lost its confidence in the house for the third time, sitting Prime Minister who was sacked by the President Maithripala Sirisena, Ranil Wickremesinghe told the reporters here a short while ago.
Meanwhile talking about the violence erupted in the Parliment today, the Prime Minister Wickramasinghe says, "Disgraceful incident that shamed the nation. "
Several MPs including Vijitha Herath, Malik Samarawickrama, Gamini Jayawickrama, who support the No-Confidence Motion against Rajapaksa and the installed Government were assaulted by MPs from Rajapaksa-Sirisena side.
"Mr President don't burn our nation. People will curse you. Kindly stop this and solve this crisis," Gamini Jayawickrama Perera said in an ongoing press conference.
