Sri Lanka: Head of CID Transferred!

( November 18, 2018, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The head of the Criminal Investigation Department ( CID) Nishantha Silva who was handling several high profile investigations such as abductions and killings of Tamil youths by Sri Lankan Navy, assaults against journalists and Murder of Lasantha Wickramathunge reportedly transferred out of the CID, sources in the department of police said.
