( January 6, 2015, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) In case President Mahinda Rajapaksa refuses to accept defeat and give up his post, the common opposition has a special plan to deal with such situation, former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga says.
Speaking to Saroj Pathirana of 'BBC Sandeshaya', she has said, 'We have a plan. For now, we cannot reveal what it is.'
Speaking further, Ms. Kumaratunga has said although she has learnt of preparations to engage in corrupt and violent activities during the presidential elections, such activities would be hard to execute amid the present public force.
'We are also prepared to face such activities,' she has added.
