( June 6, 2014, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is to return to Sri Lanka at the end of June, says a senior minister of the government.
The minister emphasised that she is not to engage in any foreign tours lately again and she is to make an active contribution towards the 'Protect SLFP' organization established by a group of ministers.
Though due to her children's persuasion she does not wish to stand in for the presidential election, she is prepared to face any challenge in the process of handing over the SLFP to its true inheritors, quintuple force (Pancha Maha Balawegaya) , the minister further mentioned.
