Oh Mahinda!

(EPDP paramilitary mentor Cllr Sinnathurai Thavarajah pleads and is being blessed)

( April 24, 2014, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) In the 70’s, I was a gun carrying militant fighting for a separate state of Tamil Eelam.

I robbed the Peoples Bank in Puloly in 1973 to further my cause.

I was arrested by the police in Puttalam and was tortured naked for many days.

I thank the brutes for sparing my life.

I later joined the EPDP paramilitary and did everything to espouse the Sri Lanka government’s cause against the Tamils.

I am now an appointed councillor of the newly elected Northern Provicial Council.

Oh Mahinda my mentor- our saviour!!

My oath in front of you today is a commitment to pursue my determined path to use all the resources provided me by you to demolish the TNA and its support base.

Please be greatful sir.

Allow us to carry our arms and we will do the job for you.

Redouble your support to increase your funding to the EPDP and permit our paramilitary group unhindered engagement in all the spears of governance under the EPDP leadership.

Devolvement of powers without Parliamentary Select Committee process to the EPDP will be more than adequate for the Tamils and we will continue to have a tab on our people to achieve your ultimate objective to fully marginalise the Tamils.

I do not believe in God but still would say:

‘You will make Sri Lanka a great nation and will bless thee and make thy name great and thou shalt be blessed by the messengers of Buddha -the Bodu Bala Sena, Jathika Hela Urumaya and all the other splinter goups espousing the cause of your Sinala Buddhist state Chinthana’.
