( February 19, 2014, Balochistan, Sri Lanka Guardian) The violation of human rights continued in Balochistan in the year of 2013 by abducting political workers, students, lawyers and people from all walks of life. After few days, months and years in the captivity of the intelligence agencies their tortured, decomposed bodies were found in deserted and on the road sides of the province. In last year 510 people were picked up by intelligence agencies from different areas of the province and 161 people were extra judicially killed in torture cells said Nasrullah Baloch.
The security forces are not acting the orders of the supreme court and violating the judiciary and constitutional laws, which show that they are above the judiciary and laws of the country there is no on to ask them about the violation of the laws and human rights.
On the other hand we are frustrated from the present provincial and federal government performances because when they will be in opposition they chant slogans and assure the family members of the missing persons if they would be in power they would recover the missing persons and stop the extra judicially killing of the disappeared persons at the hands of the security forces. They would take action against those who found involved in these cases of missing persons, said chairman voice for Baloch missing persons.
When the same people come into power so they forget this serious human issue and enjoy a luxurious life. Instead of reducing the power security forces the present government is providing protection to the unconstitunal acts of them implementing a new law called Protection of Pakistan ordnance. In which they get authority to pick up any person without informing any institution of laws and keep them in their custody, they can confiscate the property of them; they are not answerable to any institution including judiciary. In the constitution of Pakistan all the citizens are having their fundamental rights; by implementing this law is violation of constitution of Pakistan.
We condemn this law and appeals the government do not pass this ordinance in National Assembly. If this ordinance was passed so the security forces would be power full and no political worker could raise voice against their illegal actions and present government may suffer from this ordinance said chairman of VBMP.
It is better to implement a law to reduce the power of security forces. They must be punished according to the law if they found in unconstitutional acts, which have done in civilized societies where no one or governments institution have no authority that they could violate the basic and constitutional laws. Said chairman VBMP.
Voice for Blaoch Missing persons is a nonpolitical organization and peace fully struggling with the family members of the victims in the plate form of the organization, we have knocked all the door of the institutions of country, for obtaining justice but instead of justice we are being threatened form different ways by security forces. On the next day of the long march from Quetta to Karachi my brother was picked up and later on released him and on the next day I went to Market to consult a Doctor regarding my son I saw few persons who were having weapons and came to my vehicle where my brother was sitting they threatened him and said you along with your family face problems if you continued your protest like this. The participants of the long march are now going to Islamabad and Mama Qadeer is continuously receiving threats, we condemn such actions, said chairman VBMP.
The federal and provincial government will be responsible if something happened to us including my organization members. If our beloved ones are culprit so they must be produced in any court of law or if they were martyred during torture so they must inform the victim’s family members.
Human developed countries societies such as united nation, international national human rights organizations, civil society and journalists must play their role in the recovery of missing persons and perform their duty to stop the extra judicial killings missing persons said chairman VBMP.
