( December 28, 2013 - Colombo - Sri Lanka Guardian) Though certain members of the opposition claim that 'Computer Jilmart' modified results of the 2010 presidential elections, no such thing occurred, common candidate of the opposition at that elections and former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka says.
Fonseka, who is currently the leader of the Democratic Party made this statement while being quizzed by 'Hiru Hard Talk'.
This was the first time he made such a statement.
Earlier, Chief of the UNP communications unit - Mangala Samaraweera had also publicly stated that the claims of 'Computer Jilmart' were false.
