( April 27, 2013, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The former LTTE media campaigner Nadarajah Sethurupan alias Dirty Sethu has embarked on a campaign of harassment against Professor Ratnajeevan Hoole for publishing an article quoting him as Dirty Sethu.

His campaign of harassment has become personal with intent to humiliate and harass Prof Hoole. Intimidating telephone calls and emails and unnecessarily corresponding with the unconnected parties are a campaign Dirty Sethu is specialist in. I forewarn Prof Hoole, this may even go further to extend a dirty campaign against you and your loved ones by this heinous mindset.

The experience I underwent with him following my release from the LTTE captivity in 2005 is unprecedented and very painful. His campaign was such that it was traumatising as his determined campaign was full of fearless vituperation with the intent to demean me.

If I ever write my memoirs, Dirty Sethu will have an important place, as his deviousness is beyond comprehension. A catalogue of hate campaign was let loose against me to the extent of portraying me and my wife’s photos in rude pornographic pictures and displaying them for months in his Neruppu.com. My innocent children were scandalised by him in his crusade against me.

His campaign was multipronged from making anonymous telephone calls and intimidating emails and publishing scurrilous news about me to tarnish my image. As the founder of the LTTE website nitharsanam.com, he enjoyed the unprecedented support of the LTTE bandwagon in the Tamil diaspora who were all out to discharge their venom for going public about my incarceration in Vanni.

His conduct turned into violence. In association with the questionable goons including the infamous Rowdy Rajan his campaign extended to discredit the Hindu Temple Eelapatheeswarar Aalayam I founded. One night, waste fried chicken oil was poured at the entrance and the door of the temple and it later came to light the used oil originated from the fast food takeaway in Wembley owned by a Tamil family. This campaign had the backing of a well known LTTE activist and a anti-LTTE militant group.

Dirty Sethu’s fame started to recede when LTTE decided to distance itself from him. His prop ups too faded away and he was left in the lurch. His sentencing by the British Court for causing troubles at the Tamil Broadcasting Corporation alienated him further. His decline was at the time LTTE was defeated and he attempted to mollycoddle with the government of Sri Lanka.

He also went on the spree to correct his adverse image and attempted to portray him as an accredited journalist. Anyone name calling him as Dirty Sethu or referring to his scandalous history were countered to portray his pious new found image. His legal victory over the wretched Asian Tribune editor K T Rajasingam gave him added confidence to confront anyone exposing him. Using the judgement of the Finland court, he intimidates anyone who reveal anything about him.

For the feared he is a monster, for those confronting him he is painful nuisance and for those who used him he was a opportunistic guru.

Dirty Sethu’s campaign against me is vast and what is stated herein is just a little.

This is a public appeal to Prof. Ratnajeevan Hoole, that I will be with him to challenge the monstrous crusade of Dirty Sethu. He can count on my support if legal action is contemplated, as I will be his prime witness to unravel the true character of Dirty Sethu. There are many others who are victims of him and will appear before any trial Prof Hoole may initiate or initiated against him. The right thinking and victims of Dirty Sethu will be with him to put an end to the pain and suffering caused by this dissolute and the scorn.
