( January 5, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) A government member of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha was shot dead at Waragoda a short while ago, police said.
They identified the victim as Asitha Madawala-described as a close associate of Council’s Chairman Prassana Ranaweera.
