( January 13, 2013, Dhaka, Sri Lanka Guardian) The people who are concerned about the militant activities of Bangladesh were hunching last couple of months, some illicit money is entering in Bangladesh, and it is using for militant activities. People of Bangladesh has seen that, the student organization of Jammat –E- Islami Bangladesh- which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the state department of America, committed many attack on police in the street. Besides that, they have torched police van, people bus and car. All were organized crime. Any criminologist knows that, to organize any chain of crime needs a lot of money. So what the student organization has done and going to do it is a matter of huge amount of money. Besides that, Tiripura state government of India said that, some militant people are trying to do their illegal work in the territory of Bangladesh. So, it is also the matter of illegal money because besides money that type of militant group cannot run their activities. A confidential source says, “ they are hunching Inter Service Intelligence of Pakistan is sending money in Bangladesh by any illegal way but the proper organization of the government cannot find out it, which way the money is entering in the country.” He also told that, “the incident of Ramu in Chittagong (where a huge number of temple of Buddhist torched and vandalized.) is also organized by any illegal money.”

Last two and half year government of Bangladesh has to face many activities within the country and abroad which was the effect of illegal money. Its main cause is that, the government of Bangladesh has taken a firm position against any type of fundamentalism, international terrorism, regional terrorism and the war criminals. The present government of Bangladesh has deported all the terrorist of Assam, Tripura and Nagaland to India. Government has become successful to stop all kinds of illegal arms smuggling through the Bangladesh. Government of Bangladesh has also become successful to stop entering international terrorist in Bangladesh. On the other hand the government of Bangladesh has started to trial the war criminals, who committed crime in 1971 at the time of freedom struggle of Bangladesh. Most of they are the leaders of Jamati-e-Islami. Basically Jamat is the main tree of the terrorism in Bangladesh. They are also connected with Taliban, Lasker-e- Tayeba. This organization is very much connected with ISI and many fundamentalist organization of Middle East. So when they are in danger to rescue them illicit money will be worked, and that is happening within Bangladesh and abroad.
In Bangladesh some newspapers have published the documents, how Jammat people are spending a huge amount of money for appointing lobbyist farm in America, to create pressure on the government of Bangladesh, not to continue the trial of the war criminals. They are doing many things for stopping the trial of the war criminals. They have hacked a telephone conversation and some email between an expert and a justice of the International Crime against humanity Tribunal ( ICT). One newspaper of Bangladesh published it, that newspaper is backed by Jammat and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) . The editor of this newspaper is not a professional Journalist. He is a fundamentalist leaning BNP leader. He was also an advisor of the BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia. However, he has resigned from his position of the party on protest of the khaleda’s India visit. In addition, at that time he wrote many articles against khaleda’s India visit. However, he has published the conversation between a judge of the ICT and an expert of war crime through hacking the Skype. It was also a part of the work of Jammat to stop the trial. For this reason, the judge has resigned of ethical ground. It is also a setback for ICT. Not only that, the editor of this newspaper Mr. Mahamudur Rahaman’s all efforts goes to the account of Jammat. On the other hand not only in Bangladesh the concerned people of this sub continent knows that Jammat-E-Islami Bangladesh runs by the fund of ISI of Pakistan and some fundamentalist organization of Pakistan and Middle East.
Therefore, when the worker of Jammat and person like Mahamudur Rahaman become active then it proves that illicit money is entering in the country. The concerned organization of Bangladesh is hunching that ISI money is entering in Bangladesh. One of its documents is that, a secret paper of ISI shows that, on 11 January 2012, ISI has transferred $40,000 in account of Liberty Bangladesh and Free Thinkers Foundation (FTF). The file number of the money transfer order is 5002/BD/Fund/8/91(F). The director general of ISI, Lieutenant Colonel Agha Mir Hussain Shah, signs it. But here to mention that, there is no signature in this paper, only his name and designation is mentioned; but a note is there, computer generated documents do not require signature. On the other hand, the president of FTI is Mr. Mahamudur Rahaman.
It is only a document, but the reality is telling that, huge amount of money is transferring from ISI in favor of Bangladesh. This money is trying to disestablish the political situation, to destroy the communal harmony and for stopping the trial of war criminals. This money will also help to reorganize the insurgent group of the northeast India. So without stopping the enter pf the money of ISI in Bangladesh it is difficult to make a stable situation and it will hamper the regional peace policy of Sheikh Hasina.
