(
December 24, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The TID today (Dec. 24) summoned three female
students of Jaffna University to its Vavuniya office for questioning, according
to reports.
Previously
too, the TID has summoned several students, both male and female, for
interrogation.
These
follow the arrest of a group of undergraduates, including the secretary of the
Students’ Union, on November 29.
Reports
said the TID is giving telephone calls, ordering the students to be at its
Vavuniya office for questioning.
In
this situation, many students are thinking about leaving the country, reports said.
