Guardian) The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) backed by civil organisations today
held a protest in Jaffna demanding the release of four students of the Jaffna
University who were arrested by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) last
saturday.
They
were also protesting against the attacks by security forces on students on last
Wednesday.
Members
of the Nawa Sama Samaja Party, the Democratic People's Front members and
several former MPs took part in the protest.
