Budget 2013 & Sri Lankan Farming Concessions

( November 10, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Sri Lankan Government in their new 2013 budget has removed import taxes on Cars for Racing purposes, experts say this will lead to revolutionary farming methods by farmers opting for McLaren's and Bugatti's instead of the traditional water buffalo to plough their fields as depicted in the picture below.

This declaration was made yesterday (08th Nov) in Parliament by President Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as Minister of Finance who is said to have a direct genealogical lineage to both the traditional paddy farmer and the water buffalo from the south of Sri Lanka. Its is believed that The President has granted this concession after giving careful consideration and giving deep thought to the centuries of arduous labour, both types of his ancestors have exerted in tending to their paddy fields. The President devised this method to provide both his ancestors the farmer and the water buffalo a long needed respite by granting them this concession.

Leading Race Car Manufacturer's McLaren, Bugatti, Ferrari & Porsche are unable to cope up with the unprecedented demand of continued orders spilling in from Sri Lanka over the last 24 hours mostly from the Walasmulla Divisional Secretariat Division in the Hambantota District of the Southern Province.
