( October 7, 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Judicial Services Commission Secretary Manjula Thilakaratne was assaulted by an unidentified group in Mount Lavinia this morning.
The Mount Lavinia Police told Ceylon Today Online that Manjula Tilakaratne is currently receiving treatment in the Colombo National Hospital. Hospital sources stated that Tilakaratne was transferred to ward no 15.
Meanwhile, the ruling party strongly condemn with disgust the attack on Secretary to JSC and President Mahinda Rajapaksa orders the IGP to take action to bring perpetrators to Justice.
