Gun Men killed eight soldiers in coastal area of Gwadar

(22 July, 2012, Balochistan, Sri Lanka Guardian) Pakistani forces under attacked in Gwadar and Mashkay towns of Balochistan,as a collective results, 23 personnels killed and 4 injured.

Occupied Balochistan: Gunmen stormed a checkpoint of Coast Guards near the port of city of Gwadar and shot dead at least eight soldiers, thee others have been injured.

According to details unknown motorcyclists have attacked a check post, with rocket launchers and other automatic weapons, of Pakistan Coast Gaurds in Pishukan area of Gawadar town in Balochistan early Saturday morning. As a result of the apparently pre-planned attacked eight soldiers were killed and at least three others have been wounded.

The wounded and dead have reportedly been shifted to civil hospital Gawadar. The injured are stated to be in critical condition.

The attackers have successfully escaped on motor bikes after the attack.

The Pakistani security forces have laid a siege in surrounding areas and started a search for the attackers. No arrests have been made until the filing of this report.

Meanwhile the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) spokesman ,Basham Baloch has said that, on Saturday our Sarmachars (Freedom Fighters) have attacked the checkpoint of Pakistan Coast Guards in Pishukan area of Gwadar.As a result of this attack 15 personnels of Coast Guards killed ,and their entire weaponry is also being seized and taken away by the Baloch freedom fighters.

BLF spokesman also claimed that that our Sarmachars attacked the FC (Paramilitary forces) convoy in six different places of Mashkay town of Balochistan,as a collective results,8 FC personnels killed and 4 injured.
