Three more missing persons’ body found in different areas of Balochistan
( 01 March 2012, Quetta, Sri Lanka Guardian) At least 10 Pakistani soldiers were killed early Thursday evening in a gunfight in a restive northwestern areas of Baluchistan, Baloch freedom fighters said.
The clash took place Dera bugti district bordering Sibbi.
“At least 15 soldiers died and three others were wounded; Baloch Republican Army spokesman told the reporters
“At least 15 frontier corps personal was killed in the fighting which lasted for nearly three hours,” Mazar Baloch the spokesman of BRA added.
Military officials in Quetta confirmed the attacks saying just two Pakistani soldiers were wounded in clash.
BRA, which is involved in attacks on FC and Pakistan army, is an organization fighting for an independent Balochistan.
Some 10,000 people fled their homes in Dera Bugti in August last 2005 fears of after a military operation which took the lives of some 4000 Baloch along with a Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
Balochistan’s tribal districts near the Sindh border are rife with Pakistan army atrocities and are strongholds of Pakistan army and ISI operatives.
Meanwhile, the bullet-riddled body of Takri Raheem Dad, a missing person, was found dumped in the Dasht area of Mastung on Wednesday. The deceased was a local tribal elder.
Levies Force personnel recovered the body on a tip-off and shifted it to Quetta for an autopsy.
“The victim was shot in the head and his body was kept in the morgue,” hospital sources said.
Local tribal elder Takri Raheem Dad, son of Haq Dad, was identified by his relatives. He had gone missing along with his nephew, Zinuddin, on December 19, 2011. Zinuddin had been released after 19 days.
According to the relatives, the two had been travelling from Bolan to Quetta when they were intercepted by a group of armed men and taken away.
Meanwhile, two dead bodies were recovered from Pishin and Kech districts. The body found from Yaro area of Pishin was identified as Ajab Khan while the one recovered from Kech was identified as Abdul Rehman who were illegally abducted by inter service intelligence agency IS death squad.
“The government functionaries are behind these abduction killings. Political activists are still being picked up and subjected to enforced disappearances,” alleged Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VFBM), an organization working for the safe recovery of missing persons.
VFBM said they wanted the missing persons produced before the judiciary and tried in court if they were involved in any crimes.
