(October 09, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) An owner of a beauty parlour dumped the body of a young music teacher close to a canal after cream used on the teacher during a facial turned poison and she passed away, police investigations have revealed.
The teacher Wasana Amratunga, 34 had gone missing after she left her house in Kochchikade, Negombo on September 24 and her body was found on the following day on canal road, Negombo.
Police pursuing the investigations found that the teacher had gone for a facial at the beauty parlour in Main street, Negombo and as a cream used on her turned poisonous and she passed away the owner had decided to dump the body away.
The owner of the parlour with her husband had taken the body and dumped on the roadside. Both have been arrested.
Ms Amaratunga was a teacher at Loyola college Negombo.
