(July 19, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (July 18) said that democracy is safe in this countryand it will safe in the future too.
President was speaking in Velani, jaffna today evening.
He said some people send their children overseas to continue their studies and carry out false propaganda here.
“Do not allow terrorism to rise again”, he said.
President delivered his speech in Tamil. He is due to take part in more events in Jaffna and Kilinochchi. The president due to lay the foundation stone for an International ground in Kilinochchi. He will hand over the houses built by the army at Valithoondal, Keerimalai tomorrow
