The New Lords Prayer by Bishop of Mannar (The Three Kings)

(January 20, Toronto, Sri Lanka Guardian) Instead of replying to the Bishop of Mannar Rt.Rev.Dr.Joseph Rayappu and his associates Rev.Fr.Victor Sosai and Rev.Fr.Xavier Croos, for their submission in Lesson Learn and Rehabilitation Commission held in Mannar, I simply would like to answer it from my imaginative way by the new version of Lord’s Prayer.

The Original Version of the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy Kingdom come,

thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. For ever and ever. Amen 

The New Lords Prayer by the three Kings of Mannar Diocese
Our Leader,
Who rules Vanni,
Holy be thy name.
Thy Eelam come,
thy will be done,
in mannar as it is in Vanni Give as arms and ammunitions
and forgive us for our missing targets
But we will not forgive those are against you ( including Catholic Sinhalese)
A Lead us for the Great Eelam war
And deliver us from evil army.
For thy is the Eelam,
the power and the glory.
For ever and ever. Amen.


Dear Leader,
We apologize for the short prayer and even that is not the fault of us and it was Jesus Christ himself who taught us all a very short prayer. There were so many things to praise you, unfortunately, We was only taught to repeat this again and again in all our life and henceforth ,We are not able to think anything more than this. We truly apologize for the inability and ask for your pardon.
