(January 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) India based Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (ENDLF) commenced its march to Delhi from the memorial site of Rajiv Gandhi in Sriperumputhur in Tamil Nadu (16/1) to submit their demand for the resolution of conflict in Sri Lanka.
The march was officially inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Congress MP Ira Anbarasu at 12.00noon.
Over one hundred ENDLF activists carrying their party flags and black and white attire proceeded on the march. The inauguration was attended by a large gathering.
They will be walking over 2000 kilo meters to Delhi to handover a petition to Mrs Sonia Gandhi. The group is supporting the full implementation of the 13 amendment to the constitution came to being with the involvement of Rajiv Gandhi in 1987.
In his inaugural speech Ira Anbarasu MP heavily criticised the pro-LTTE Vaiko for his failures and double standards.
