Fonseka transferred to Prison hospital as room is leaking: Anoma

(November 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka was transferred to the Prisons hospital as his prison cell was leaking the previous night due to heavy rains, Ms Anoma Fonseka said.

She said after the previous nights rains the prison officials had provided five to six buckets to placed under the leaks.

However as the leaks were heavy the prison authorities have promised to repair the roof and told him to remain in the prison hospital until the repair is completed.
