According to a reliable source, Mr. Alles coordinated financial matters in the last presidential and general elections on behalf of the Retired General Sarath Fonseka, the man in charge of the endgame against LTTE.
General Fonseka allegedly gave Tiran Alles 7 million rupees. A part of this amount Mr. Alles distributed to the JVP while it is unknown what has become of the rest.
The Sri Lanka Guardian has learned that Tiran Alles has received large money sums dealing with General Fonseka’s previous court case. It is believed that that the money has been used for personal interests
Furthermore, according to our source, Mr. Tiran Alles is known to be in the planning stage of founding a new political party while breaking down the strength of the DNA.
