Meanwhile the government owned newspaper the Silumina reported recently the Secretary General of the United Nation Ban kin Moon had declared in the meeting with Sri Lanka President Rajapake at the UN head quarters that "there are no powers to conduct an investigation on Sri Lanka by the panel that is appointed by me," Furthermore Secretary General said that he appointed the panel to get advices on the post war situation in Sri Lanka and that he is happy about the post war reconciliation effort of the country.
