Mr. Saudi Ambassador; cut your bluff

(September 02, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Apropos the front page news item today (1st. September), the Saudi Ambassador in Sri Lanka appears to be evading responsibility in bringing the sadistic culprits to book in respect of the housemaid tortured by her master and the family.

I underwent a by-pass surgery in the year 2000 and carry eight stainless steel tacks in my breast as a result. Any person who undergoes by-pass surgery has these tacks which keep the cut breast bones together. I have travelled through many airports such as Tokyo, Singapore, Chicago, New York and obviously the Bandaranaike International Airport without any hindrance from security screening and I am sure, thousands of such persons who have undergone this surgery may be travelling daily through airports without any security detection of metal in the body.

Mr. Ambassador cut your bluff, take steps to bring the culprits to book and compensate the victim adequately. We know that you are here to lie for your country.
