(September 10, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) According to the ‘Karuppu’ (Black) website of the hardcore LTTE in the UK, a major confrontation has developed between two factions.

The faction opposed to the former Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO) head by K P Reggie has taken control of the Karuppu website and have castigated him after clandestinely recording his conversation with them on the phone.

Faction loyal to Reggie has been branded as ‘Paper Tigers’ in the article datelined 7th September 2010 titled ‘Reggie under India’s agenda! Shocking recording exposed!!’ The website also displays the secretly recorded telephone conversation of Reggie.

According to the news, Reggie has confirmed that he has daily contacts with India and that he is struggling to explain his inability to stop the Tamil national media.

Reggie in the conversation has gone on to say that heavy pressure must be brought upon Sangathy, Pathivu and Eelamurasu websites to bring them under his control.

His conversation has taken place with his rival Ramu Suban. The article states that Reggie has confirmed that by taking control of these media, he can run them under India’s agenda.

Making personal attack on Reggie the Karuppu website goes on to state: ‘Reggie came to Britain in 2005 with a tourist visa and has avoided returning to Sri Lanka’. Because of his foolish decisions, about 100 million rupees provided by the expatriate Tamils to the TRO has been grabbed by the Sinhala state’.

‘Following this, a warrant was issued by the Colombo Court and he is being hunted by the Interpol’ says to Karuppu web.

The news further states that when the Interpol attempted to issue an arrest warrant in London, a senior official of the Indian High Commission had intervened in the last minute and aborted the effort.

The Karuppu website links up LTTE’s arms procurer K P (Tambiah Selvarajah Pathmanathan) who is currently under government care, with Reggie and goes on to accuse that Reggie has come to terms with the government of Sri Lanka with India’s help through KP to hand over the funds of the TRO to KP’s organisation NERDO.

In order to have discussions with the Sinhala government, Dr Puvi was sent to Colombo few months ago by K P Reggie.

The website states that their secret investigation has confirmed that the nine member Diaspora team that went to Colombo was organized by Reggie.

According to the news, K P Reggie was asked to return to Vanni (Sri Lanka) by LTTE’s political head P Nadesan in 2008. But he had told a lie that his passport is with the Interior Ministry (Home Office). He was then asked by Nadesan to come in the Vananga Mman ship. But Reggie refused to board the ship and did everything to stall the ship in the Red sea until 20th May. The ship that should have reached Vanni in March 2009 was delayed as a result.

The news states that K P Reggie only allowed the ship to leave the Arabic sea after hearing the news that Sinhala forces had brutally killed the LTTE’s political head and the senior commanders.

When the final war was taking place in Mullivaykaal, Reggie had established contacts with the Sinhala government through India and he is now carefully looking after his wife and children in a foreign country, the article claims.

In the concluding remarks the Karuppu news states that K P Reggie is controlling many petrol service stations outside London and several retail shops in South London.

Further inquiries by the Sri Lanka Guardian reveals that LTTE’s UK fundraiser Rupert Susaipillai alias Thanam, ROOT Ravi, LTTE’s UK fund manager Skanthadeva and the other hardcore elements are still supporting K P Reggie and are showing allegiance to LTTE’s Nediyavan currently in hiding somewhere in Europe.
