Attempt to get false evidence against General Fonseka

(September 04, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) When a Buddhist monk met the AG to discuss about the hasty indictment filed against two Buddhist monks and two others regarding possession of bombs, the AG requested the monk to make a statement in court saying that the weapons belonged to Gen Fonseka.

Similarly, while the monk was in CID, several officers repeatedly approached the monk to say the same but he declined. AG is personally appearing in many cases against Gen Fonseka. DSG Aluvihare is the prosecuter at the court martial. DSG Shavindra Fernando is the Judge-Advocate in all court martials.
