Former Superintendent of Police contracted to threaten business contacts in the UK

(August 14, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The well-known retired Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sri Lanka R Sundaralingam has been contracted by a controversial Tamil businessman in the UK to threaten its customers when faulty deals fall through in their business dealings. He retired from the police service as Additional Director-General of Police.

Mr Sundaralingam is well known as SP Sundaralingam. Since his retirement he has undertaken controversial international assignments as intelligent agent and at the age of 70, he has now been engaged by the Accident Courtesy.com run by the London based well known state benefit cheat and credit card fraudster K Pathmanathan based in East Ham.

The Accident Courtesy.Com has its offices in Barking, Harrow and Leicester. Its clientale is mainly vulnerable Tamils. The business is said to be neither registered with the Inland Revenue nor regulated by the insurance industry.

It provides accident management services that include dealing in motor accident claims and provision of hired vehicles and storage charges for the vehicles during the course of the repair to the accident vehicles.

The claims are said to be handled very haphazardly by the said controversial businessman that claimants loose out financially. In order to claim part of its excessive dues in respect of hire and storage charges, the Accident Courtesy.Com has engaged SP Sundaralingam to deal with the customers and coercive tactics are being used by him to demand money from the customers.

SP Sundaralingam is accused of using his credentials as the former SP to threaten customers. When he calls the customers, he introduces himself as ‘I am Mr Sundaralingam, Superintendent of Police in Sri Lanka and I hope you will know me by my name’.

SP Sundaralingam was employed by the French Intelligence Service for some time to spy on the Tamil Tiger operations in France. He was also an Interpol drug expert and is claimed to have been engaged by the Canadian police on ad hoc basis.

Since the end of his intelligence assignments, he is now said to be settled in London and providing his expert services to the controversial K Pathmanathan’s clandestine businesses.

Until recently K Pathmanathan was a tenant of the Tamil Community Housing Association (TCHA) and occupied a short term special needs property for long term in the East Ham and his rent payments were met by the Social Services. He is said to have used intimidation and threats as part of his campaign to occupy the special needs accommodation for many years.

Whilst in TCHA tenancy, he is said to have run varied businesses including illegal credit cards cloning, unregistered second hand car sales business and other types of nefarious business activities.
