by Our Correspondent in Oslo, Norway

(June 14, Oslo, Sri Lanka Guardian) News reaching from Tamil circles in Oslo confirms that LTTE’s former deputy head of international Finance Nediyavan (Tall Man) has gone into hiding following violent incidences in Paris resulting in the killing of an activist of Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam by his group.

Nediyavan was the deputy of LTTE’s finance head Castro and moved to Germany prior to the defeat of the LTTE in May 2009. He aligned with a small group of hardcore LTTE men in the European Union to take control of the international operations of the LTTE. According to a source he has teamed up with LTTE’s Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO) Reggie and some violent elements of the LTTE.

He moved to Norway and got married to the daughter of a LTTE sympathiser.

It is understood that Nediyavan is struggling to extend his authority and is facing serious opposition and is said to operating very clandestinely.
