(June 24, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) At least nine persons have been injured in a grenade explosion today morning in Pettah, Police said.The grenade had gone off near an apple vendor in Bodhiraja Mawatha, they said.
Police are carrying out further investigations.
A spokesman for the Pettah police said the injuries caused were minor.
