Measures taken for recount of presidential votes: Ravi

(February 22, Colombo ,Sri Lanka Guardian) "All necessary measures are being taken for a recount of the votes cast at the Presidential Election," said the former UNP Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake addressing an interactive public meeting in the Kesbewa area.

“This time it is not just one election. There is competition even among those within the SLFP. This is a serious problem.

"We requested that the Presidential election results with regard to the election be counted again. There will be another petition to request for a recount. Eventually we will go to courts demanding another presidential election," said Karunanayake.
