(January 08, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Batticaloa Mayor Sivageetha Prabhakaran formally broke ranks with the SLFP this morning to extend her support to common opposition candidate General (retd.)Sarath Fonseka.
Ms.Prabhakaran attended a press briefing along with Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesighe to announce her decision.
