(December 13, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Insight Institute of Management and Technology, City Campus was launched on the 8th of December at 18A Palmyrah Avenue, Colombo 3, in the presence of a large gathering.
Justice Saleem Marsoof PC, Judge of the Supreme Court was the Chief Guest and the Executive Director for the Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ), Pakistan Mr. Shahid Warsi was the Guest of Honour.
Insight City Campus is an initiative to bring back Islamic Values of life, into all the programs offered, among which are Marketing, Leadership, Accountancy, Languages, Business Studies and Education. Insha Allah, Insight will also offer post graduate programmes in Education in association with foreign universities.
A highly qualified, competent and experienced faculty prepares, and delivers Insight study programmes.
Justice Saleem Marsoof in his address emphasized the importance of value based education in building a just and fair society. He also stressed on the need for parents to be guided by an institute of this nature to enable them to understand and appreciate various career paths available for their children. This would help the student to choose the career that balances between his interests and the financial strength of the family
The Guest of Honour and several others, who spoke, appreciated the timely effort of Insight to introduce value based education once again so that the professionals who they produce will value knowledge more than money and serve the country and its people for the pleasure of doing so.
