Mahinda Chinthanaya is not Mantra

(October 19, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Momentum struck Sri Lanka in the international level when Sri Lankan born multi-billionaire Raj Rajaratnam was arrested by the Federal Police in the USA over insider share dealings. The government of Sri Lanka thought it can overcome the western pressure by engaging with questionable governments and characters but it is unfortunate, things are not rosy for the government. Having propped up the insider dealer to invest in the equity market in Sri Lanka, the government remain exposed of artificially playing with the stock market. The major investor is preparing to enjoy the rewards of the federal justice in the USA. GSP+ is about run out and Raj Rajaratnam is buckled. I am sure there must be some more waiting in the finges to prop up the government’s nefarious mission.

Then we had the elections in the King maker Mahinda’s southern Province. Supreme Court order cleared most of the faces gleaning teeth from the walls. But unfortunately most of the gleaning teeth of the posters failed to promote the sale of Danthamuttha tooth powder in the southern market.

Our Sinhala veeraya – the national defender, the secretary to the Defence Dr. Lt. Col. (rtd) Gothabhaya Rajapaksha has become Campika Guru’s Guru and delivered his Veeraya’s speech at the event.

Few days before the book was launched, the President’s musketeer machang Dr. Marvyn Silva of Giruwapattuwa joined the event organized by Thilanga Sumathipala in Borella. The musketeer said “victory in the war would not have been possible if not for Gotabhaya and Mahinda”. He further said it was only made possible by Dr. Mahinda Rajapaksha’s step brother, Dr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksha chest pussing effort and it deserves all the credit. The musketeer praised by saying ‘Gota was behind Mahinda like Tissa was behind Gamunu’. What a jamboree of the lethal cocktail that got a doctorate for his below average mindset.

The cold war between former chief of Army General Sarath Fonseka, a true hero of the Sinhalese, and the Chinthanaya regime is going on. The government wanted to hide the widening conflict by using the Sinhala Guru Minister Champika Ranawaka’s invitation to General Sarath Fonseka’s wife to attend his book launch. The media men were quick to highlight the chat between Ms. Anoma Fonseka and Dr. Gothabhaya Rajapaksha, and said ‘what a chat they had’ and that ‘there is no conflicts between the old Anandians’. The time is clicking and who is going to win the tussle is everyone’s guess.

Then came another salvo from Gota. He says there are some who criticize the appointment of ex military personnel as diplomats. He praises the ability of these men in arresting KP or Pathmanadan. What an insult inflicted on our diplomatic service! What a boncos from the Guru’s Guru who is losing even the residual respect that he had so far. If not for our neighbour states intelligence and the Malaysian anti-Tamil stance, KP would not have been arrested. When KP was brought to Colombo, the five star ex-military officials did not know what was happening. Now that KP is in custody how many more KPs are there for these ex-military men to go about and nab them around the world? Col Karuna who is now enjoying the beautiful cake in the platter must provide some good advise to Guru’s Guru.

Dr Gota is really trying his best to achieve high standards to claim Professorial status in military operational matters. Who knows next time around, he may campaign to get a Nobel Peace Prize for getting his brigadier to chop the forehead of Pirabakaran thus accomplishing his step brothers infamous ‘ Oluwata Vathunathe’ proclamation.

Then the Eritrea story! Gota is going to crack down on the flights that belong to the Tamil Tigers. Using the expertise of the ex-military personnel Dr. Gotahabhaya is going to sky raid with his bino’s to catch these evil flights. For the past one month they are looking around the sky to find the flights. Even Eritrea government had told, ‘there are flights’ but the ex-men are still in motion to find them.

Mathalee would will advice to search those flights in the culverts in South Africa, because Tigers might be trying to use them from there. Then the South African Navin Pillai who wants war crimes inquiry is denied entry to Lanka. Then how can our ex-military men go to South Africa. There may be tit for tat reprisal or bargaining to find the planes in the culverts.

Oh my God now they say not enough money is collected in “Api Wenuwen Api,” fund raising campaign. Why waste time with Api Wenuwen Api, the ex-military men must be asked to find the tons of Gold hidden by the Tamil Tigers in the liberated areas.

Now there is news, the people in Hambanthota have started rebellion against the Chinthanaya regime. Dr.Mahinda Rajapaksha is now finding ways to help Hambanthotaya relive corruption.

It’s very interesting to read the latest speech of General Sarath Fonseka. His words were clear and he is a true patriot indeed. “During last 3 ½ years changes were made in various areas. Selecting and identifying those who are outstanding, to form the mainstream, changing concepts and tactics, perfect operational planning and ensuring the execution, efficient administration of the Army preventing corruption and marinating discipline, not believing in Thamashas but, encouraging to sacrifice and determination to eradicate terrorism were remarkable,” he said.

Will the state protect Gen. Fonseka if he joins the opposition as honourable politician; without meeting with the destiny General Janaka Perera attained?

PS: " It was at the Hilton hotel there were oraganised dinner by the old Royalists, so several corrupt big bosses so called politicians were joined with the dinner, among them Minister Mahindananda Aluthgama of Gampola and Nishantha Mutuhettigama , the news maker of last PC election where there. Both of them started debate on Politics and it became heated. All people where watching and listing even some of them forgot to give cheers for Mutuhettigama's side. Claps, Music and Dancing under dark light. Later they started a fight, and Mahindananada fell down on the ground following Matuhettigama's kick. Later we told the reason was some small joke went off seriously."
