We got some of the best gentlemen in the Armed forces honored by the government by way of promotions is the only way we can appreciate their noble commitment for their respective services to the people of Sri Lanka. I salute these gentlemen and the President for making these appointments. If not for the gallant sacrifices of these officers neither the Tamils nor the Sinhalese could ever have been free.
