Confidence trickster with Canadian passport

Sappani claims that he is a former Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) agent. He also claims that he has invested the monies of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidi and his family members.

(July 27, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Dev Sappani a man from the outskirts of Hatton who managed to get a Canadian Passport with the place of birth as Vavuniya has been masquerading as an Investment Consultant and introducing innocent Indian Businessmen to top politicos dropping big names and earning commissions from introductions.

Sappani has secured a Consultant’s job at Minhas Hospital in Puttalam (www.minhashospitals.com Tel: 0322268333)/ Speculation is rife that he could be an LTTE agent. Could an an alien national act against the interests of Sri Lanka.This is a threat to the National Security.A married man with his estranged wife and child in Canada is now about to marry an innocent Sri Lankan girl working for a Government Institution.
