(June 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The government has decided to reopen the wildlife sanctuaries in several districts of North which had been closed due to war.
Under the first step in this process the wildlife sanctuaries in Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, and Trincomalee districts will be opened for visitors, helping to attract both local and foreign tourists.
