(May 02, Miami, Sri Lanka Guardian) ‘Ravanaa’ Album is the first ever music album produced by Srinath Ramalingam which is all set to rock the music world this May 1st through various online media and Shakthi FM radio station.
“ First of all the album name is called “Ravanaa” because I’d always had a great impression on King Ravanaa from the epic drama Ramayana and he represents Sri Lanka,” according to Srinath.
At a time of brutal ethnic division in the country, observers says that ethnic uniting music will play a major role in healing the wounds that were created by decades old crisis.
“From now onwards I call myself as 'Ravanaa' to promote this album worldwide. The album has five tracks all together, and I would say one of the highlight of the album would be my patriotic track for my home that I sung which is called Voice of Sri Lanka, and I believe that it should reach all Sri Lankans. I have made tracks in all three languages and I have sung all of them. Also I have put lot of hard work on making this dream come true, and most of my promotions are published thorough Facebook, MySpace and You tube. The second major highlight of this album is my American Sound engineers and Composers Kamil Grzych (KG Records) and Joseph Griffith (JGreezy Productions) was two great music talents that I found more comfortable working with, I would definitely say they are the heroes of my album together with DJ Parys who collaborated for one track for me in my album,” he added.
“‘Ravanaa’ would definitely be a promising album for year 2009, and I am willing to get more media support for my album to reach music lovers worldwide. You can also download the album through www.ktownsrinath.com from May 1st 2009 onwards,” he further added.
