Will he now sponsor global terrorism of Tiger Terrorism International?
By Jacinta Cruz in California
(April 02, California, Sri Lanka Guardian) According to the Tiger "News-Constuctor Tamilnet, the Norwegian Minister for Tight-Rope Walking and worldwide sponsoree for Tiger Terrorism has had a telephone conversation with Prabhakaran's Valvettiturai compatriot and former Constable-General of the LTTE, B Nadesan. This was reported by the LTTE's director of the Wanni No-More Peace Secretariat, Puleedevan, "Deity of the Tiger."
Once again the threadbare LTTE position "immediate ceasfire and resumption of negotiations to achieve a lasting solution to the conflict" was reiterated by Nadesan - that is once again too many times.
Evidently Nadesan could not see the reality that what is happening now is an attempt to get on the track of a lasting solution which needs as a primary factor, the wiping out of the Tigers.
According to this report, Solheim has been wiser in this conversation. Except to inform Nadesan of the concerns of the International Community, he seems to have been only a listener to a desperate effort by the Tiger political chief to justify Tiger activities and chant a litany of accusations against the armed forces.
However, it is better Eric Solheim keeps out of Sri Lankan affairs having been a party to the current crisis in no small way. He is a known and proven LTTE supporter and that to a group committed to terrorism of the worst kind.
Furthermore, when the LTTE is finished with in Sri Lanka, Tiger Terrorism will assume an international status with the kind of global network it has created with its underworld activities. Will Norway lend grounds for Tiger Terrorism International to develop with Erick Solheim as its sponsor?
If the LTTE is not totally finished with, there is every possibility this group can become even more powerful than the Sicilian mafia and may take front position as the advocates of international terrorism. Prabhakaran never had a political goal; he wanted territory. His aim was the creation of a global mafia and Valvettiturai was too small for him.
Tamilnet recently had a detailed feature on Pathmanathan alias KP, the most powerful international Tiger guy. In bringing this up, Tamilnet announced what the LTTE would be after Prabhakaran. This is quite frightening because what the world is about to see is the induction of a new element of terror, the Hired Killer Terrorist and the resources of this organization are beyond believe.
The Tamil Diaspora should be wary of it. At this very moment, it seems quite ignorant and visionless about the harm it could bring on this community. If it continues to flirt with the LTTE, it could become a much hated community in the world, even more despised than the Taliban.

Erik Solheim discusses Vanni civilians plight with LTTE
[TamilNet, Thursday, 02 April 2009, 07:27 GMT]
Erik Solheim, the Norwegian minister for international development and the topmost representative of the Norwegian facilitator discussed Wednesday evenng the plight of the civilians in Vanni with B. Nadesan, the head of the political wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE).
Revealing the details of the phone conversation that lasted for 30 minutes, S. Puleedevan, the director of LTTE's Peace Secretariat told TamilNet that Mr. Solheim conveyed the recent developments in the International arena regarding the Tamil conflict, especially with regards to the latest briefings at the UN Security Council. Solheim was briefed on the grave humanitarian catastrophe caused by the military aggression of the Sri Lankan armed forces, Puleedevan said.
While the Norwegian minister conveyed the concerns of the International Community, LTTE's political head explained in detail how the Sri Lanka was waging a genocidal war on Tamil civilians, Mr. Puleedevan told TamilNet Thursday morning.
"Our political head categorically told Mr. Solheim that a serious responsibility rests on the International Community to put an immediate stop to the attacks on the Tamil civilians," he added.
"Mr. Nadesan pointed out that around 100 Tamil civilians, including children, pregnant mothers, and elderly are being killed or maimed every day inside a narrow strip of coastal land by the Sri Lankan armed forces. This is a grave violation of all norms of humanitarian law and the conventions of warfare."
LTTE's Political Head reiterated the Tiger position on immediate ceasefire and resumption of negotiations to achieve a lasting solution to the conflict.
"The topmost priority now is an immediate ceasefire to put a stop to the massacre being carried out by the Sri Lankan forces," Nadesan has told Solheim.
"The Tamil people do not wish to be subjugated to the genocidal Sri Lankan state. The International Community should come forward to perceive the aspirations of the Tamil nation in the context of the free will of the Tamil people themselves, and not under the conditions where they are subjected to the choice of life or death by the Sri Lankan state," Mr. Nadesan has told Solheim, according to Puleedevan.-Sri Lanka Guardian

By showing that Eric Solheim can access the Tigers, he is establishing that he has some power and a special role in this mugs game. That is why the Norwegians politicians are playing this game. There are similar mavericks among Arabs - Qaddafi was such at one time. Some Pakistani leaders are also pretending to be go betweens with the taliban.
But their days are numbered.
