(April 09, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The funeral of Mr. H.L.de Silva, PC, who passed away today will be held on Saturday at the Borella General Cemetery on Saturday. He was 81.Mr de Silva, a former diplomat and Constitutional expert was involved in a series of important cases in addition to being a member Government’s peace delegation at peace talks. He also served as the chief legal advisor to former Prime Minister late Sirimavo Bandaranaike and former president Chandrika Kumaratunga in addition to taking part in several Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) cases.
The funeral is due to take place on Satruday morning.
