(April 03, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Susantha Abeyratne, a provincial correspondent of Newsfirst TV was assaulted a little while ago at Kiribathgoda while on a coverage.
Calling the Newsfirst newsroom moments before the assault, Susantha said that a tense situation was prevailing.
No. 119 of the Police Emergency Unit and Kiribathgoda police have been informed of the incident.-Sri Lanka Guardian
