The pro-LTTE Tamil Diaspora university undergraduates are the breeders of terrorism in the countries that gave their families refuge when they fled from Sri Lanka; most of them fled from Tiger terror.
(March 22, Toronto, Sri Lanka Guardian) Canadian-born York University student Aranee Muru probably Murugesu or Murugamoorthy or whatever but that is immaterial. Reported as the pro-LTTE Monday March 16 rally organizer Aranee stated, “the Tigers are my freedom fighters.” This appeared in the Toronto Star today March 21.
On this very day in Wanni northern Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Navy rescued 473 civilians held hostage by Aranee Muru’s freedom fighters as they fled from Tiger gunfire and this was not the first time.
More and more accounts of Tiger tyranny and brutality against the civilian hostages are coming to surface from those who have escaped from their clutches at great risks to their lives. But for the concern the Armed Forces have for the civilians in Tiger captivity, the Tigers would have been wiped out by now. If as charged by people like Aranee Muru that there is genocide against the Tamils, how come all measures from the armed forces are directed to saving the Tamil hostages? And it is to the armed forces these people are rushing for help.
Aranee Muru’s freedom fighters in Sri Lanka have been killing, injuring and maiming many “hostaged” civilians who are being mercilessly held by the Tigers, or the remnants of what is left of them to save themselves and eke out a ceasefire to have a fresh breath of life. Only a ceasefire can give a chance to save the Tigers and this chance, the world knows for certain is what they will exploit to keep their terror operations ongoing and active.
Aranee Muru is a university student in Toronto. One can presume she comes from a Sri Lankan family who made Canada their home because of conditions brought about by the civil war in Sri Lanka. One can also presume she is one among her peers who has been oriented to hero-worship a monstrous killer who calls himself a liberation campaigner and is engaged in genocide against her own people in Sri Lanka.
Aranee Muru has lived in Canada probably all through her life and what kind of freedom is she seeking? She has never lived in Sri Lanka. So how can she speak for the Tamils in Sri Lanka without knowing how the Tigers are terrorizing the Tamils merely to have a mafia state?
We would ask Aranee Muru as to who this Prabhakaran is for her to reckon him as a freedom fighter! And what kind of freedom is he fighting for her? We bet she was not even born when Prabhakaran embarked on his monstrous murderous campaign killing fellow Tamils with scorn and disdain and the track he set for himself just flowed with Tamil blood and it never stopped.
Has she ever held her breath to understand the killing instincts of this man? How can such a despicable killer be a hero? And that applies to all LTTE cadres as well’
Has Aranee Muru been to Wanni? Has she tried to find out for herself how girls of her age and even younger were abducted, subjected to disgusting ordeals and pressed into becoming suicide bombers? Has she no feeling of compassion for these victims? Has she heard of the Tiger torture camps in some of which deadly serpents were used to subdue, threaten and kill those who uttered even a single word against Prabhakaran? Has she heard of the massacres he conducted both in Sri Lanka and India against other Tamil liberation groups?
The hundreds of civilian escapees from the Tiger hostage grip reporting at the IDP camps have many horror stories against the LTTE but none have made any complaints against the armed forces except praise and gratitude.In the demonstrations organized by Aranee Muru and her types, among the horrible accusations they make include rape by soldiers. How irresponsible, insensitive and non-appreciative these people could be of those who are saving the Tamils by their hundreds from the Tamil Tigers!
An undergraduate and also a march activist, Sujeev Devaraj stated that now is the time to make a difference in Sri Lanka by demanding an end to the callous and wanton killing of Tamils by the Sri Lankan government. Ganes Selva, another youngster said that the National Post, a daily usually critical of the Tigers is unfair to compare the Tamil Tigers with Islamist terrorism. Terrorism is terrorism whatever the breed of terrorists be but the truth is the Tamil Tigers are virtual mentors to many terrorists groups.
In Sri Lanka Tamils are arising against the Tamil Tigers and just this weekend a massive demonstration of thousands assembling from various parts of the peninsula and the islands expressed their opposition to the LTTE in Jaffna in no small way.
Who are the people like Aranee Muru organizing these pro-LTTE demonstrations wherever the Tiger network exists as an underworld operation handling alien smuggling, illegal arms sales, counterfeit currency, credit card fraud and several other illegal and criminal activities? This is a mafia that has already taken shape but contrary to expectations it could not set up a base in Sri Lanka. As a result, it is countries like Canada that are now endangered.
What Aranee Muru may not know or may not want to know is that finally Tamils have a chance to seek a life of dignity and honour in Sri Lanka. Whoever like Aranee Muru organizing campaigns in support of the Tigers are in effect not only betraying their own kith and kin in Sri Lanka but also advocating genocide against the Tamils and even more, laying the seeds of terrorism in the countries that gave them refuge.

It is surely the parents who are responsible or the attitudes of children who have never visited Sri Lanka. I hear that in Toronto-Scarborough, the Tamil events like Pongal or Mahashivrathri are entirely and exclusively Tamil events, with no Muslim or Sinhalese or even white Canadian friends participating as invitees. Even the Temples/Koyils there seem to have acquired caste distinctions!.We in Colombo have a multi-cultural society, while the ex-Patriot Tamils have created a mono-racial retrograde society, perhaps based on their sense of guilt and the need to justify immigration under false pretenses.
A Tamil myself, I feel sorry for this baby girl. Its her so called "freedom fighters" who brutally killed my distant family of eleven members in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. Her freedom fighters are terrorists and dictators to me. Dear girl, when you go home, do your homework. At bedtime, stop reading the "TAMIL EELAM FAIRY TALE." You don't how traumatized I was, when I lost my relatives to the LTTE.
The civilains who are trying to flee form the LTTE cluches are the real freedom fighters. For about 25years they did not have any space to escape form these brutal terrorists who are blessed by the Western countries, media and many organizations ( in diguise as humanitarian agencies).
