Dr Ramadoss tries to score on Jayalalitha’s farce

(March 09, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) Pattaliar Party chief Dr Ramadoss wants to contribute his paisa worth of wisdom to the Sri Lanka Tamil cause. Obviously in his belief from what he has been doing all these years, it must be one impacted solely by Prabhakaran and his horrendous band of brutal terrorists.

He has commended Jayalalitha Jeyaram's daytime fast today which he says will be more than a moral support to the Sri Lankan Tamils. Dr Ramadoss is one of the nuisance factor micro-mini politicians of Tamilnadu. He can be this today, that tomorrow and something else the day after and has been quite a buzzing nuisance as a politician.

It is a matter of considerable, confusing conjecture how the people of Tamilnadu are tolerating the eternal charades and mockeries of politicians like Ramadoss and even more Gopalaswamy, Thirumavalavan and Nedumaran who have been opportunistically faithful to the dollar trillionaire organization, the LTTE.

This is a Faustian relationship they yearned for selling their souls to the devils of terrorism. And it is to them they do the Kavadi Dance in frenzied hysteria under the guise of speaking for the Tamils of Sri Lanka. They are the among the major spoilers of the cause of the Sri Lankan Tamils.

Hitherto an ardent supporter of the ailing DMK leader, Mu Karunanidhi, the Tamilnadu’s political parasite Ramadoss has virtually announced and endorsed his support for Jayalalitha, describing her AIADMK as a principal political force in the state. He told The Hindu that Jayalalitha’s fast would be soothing to the Tamils and it would help create confidence in them.

What makes this man think that a fast done in Tamilnadu by anyone can ever be soothing to the Tamils? He goes on to say it will create confidence in them. What is this confidence he is talking about based on a farce that happens in Tamilnadu as a regular tamasha?

The man who formed a caste-based party which he soon changed to claim it as a workers’ force, said Jayalalitha’s hunger strike would send out a strong message across the nation and it would be a warning to the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa. How interesting it is for this political minion and hanger-on to make such an audacious and outrageous observation on a man who has virtually ended the terror menace of Prabhakaran.

One can understand his enthusiasm for Jayalalitha’s one-day fast that will begin after breakfast and end before evening tea. As a medico, he will have orange juice ready for the lady from the moment she will commence her fast. He would not allow Thirumavalavan to fast unto death but contributed towards emotionally energizing some poor ignorant person to immolate himself!

His anger at President Mahinda Rajapaksa is understandable for after all a major arterial funds conduit is now virtually closed for these min-mini Tamilnadu politicians.

Former Chief Minister Jayalalitha Jeyaram should have held the fast demanding the Tigers to let the civilians they hold as human shield to go free. Instead of fasting, she should have moved strongly to demand the freeing of the hostage captives. Dr Ramadoss having himself involved in this fast farce gives the impression that Jayalalitha Jeyaram is supporting the LTTE which is certainly not true.

No person with any concern for any soul let alone Wanni civilians will hold the kind of fast or even a political demonstration of sort as described by the LTTE-adulating Dr Ramadoss. What a farce!
Agreed what is happening to the LTTE in Sri Lanka must be extremely disconcerting and confounding to Ramadoss, Gopalaswamy, Thirumavalavan and Nedumaran, these chaps had an ever ready “Open Sesame” cave in Canada, France and Switzerland which they made good regularly and quite unashamedly.

The plight of the Tamils is being expressed quite rightly throughout the world. There is no denying it but an analysis of this plight will point to one major source, the LTTE. Any support given to the LTTE made the situation for the Tamils even worse and the micro-mini Tamilnadu political parties have contributed quite a bit in this respect.

It is also possible from whatever information that is coming from the Wanni bunkers of the LTTE that some of these politicians may have been privy to Prabhakaran’s plans to assassinate the former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. -Sri Lanka Guardian
