(January 25, Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka Guardian) During last few weeks the Senior Leaders of the LTTE including Banu, Theepan, and Laurence came to protect their FDL lines after losing large numbers of junior cadres, Commander of the 55 Division, Brig, Shavendra Silava said.Speaking to the Sri Lanka Guardian at his office in Pooneryn, Brig. Shavendra pointed out , “ We are wining the war of liberating Tamil people. This humanitarian mission to liberate ordinary Tamil people/civilians from LTTE's terrorism”.
“The terrorists have lost all fronts and their leaders are searching for places to hide.”
When we asked whether the LTTE leader Prabhakaran has fled the country he says, “, he said, " whether he is living in Wanni or outside Wanni doesn’t matter to our forces. We have wiped out their terrorism. We will be happy to meet them at the battlefront in Wanni” - Sri Lanka Guardian
