Arab leaders & Palestinian conflict

(January 03, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) Muslims are boiling all over the Muslim world seeing brutal Zionists attacks on innocent people in Gaza: Yet, Arab & Muslim leaders are doing nothing except keep negotiating with aggressors & passing revolutions for the last six decades: Some points the finger at America & Its western nations for this mess in the middle east and some others blame the Zionists Israel for its continuous attacks on Palestinian people for more than six decades: Some others accuse Arab & Muslim leaders for their disunity and inability to influence and persuade western nation & Israel for many years: some others criticise Hamas & Fattah disunity for this blood bath in recent years: Thus, internal & external factors determine and contribute for peace and stability in this conflict. I will evaluate and assess these claims in this short article.

Israel is surrounded by many Arabic countries and Arab leaders could have solved this conflict long time ago: yet, this conflict has been going on for more than six decades now: some agued that disunity among Arab nations is one of the main reasons that they could not resolve this problem either through wars or through negotiations: at early stages of Palestinian & Israel conflict Arab nations were militarily & politically stronger than now: Israel has had many wars with its neighbours in the past except 1963 war in all others wars Israel won. Disunity of Arab nations and shrew diplomacy and crafty politics of Western nations may some of reasons for Arab failures in this conflicts: There has been no unanimous agreements between Arab nations to face this conflict collectively: Indeed, this problem is not mere problem of Palestinian people alone: Israel in long term wants to destroy as many Arab & Muslim nations: It has been threatening Iraq & Iran and other surrounding nations in the past: It has invaded neighbouring Syria, Egypt, Lebanon & Jordan many times in the past: yet, Arab leaders for many reason reluctant to see Israel as common enemy and act accordingly: Many Arab countries established diplomatic relationship with Israel in recent years as gesture of good will yet, Israel has been treating these Arab countries with differently and very much cheaply & not like equal partners: Moreover, it has been threatening very existence of Palestine people and Arab nations:

It is unfortunate and sad that against this common threat Arab & Muslim nations does not have collective efforts to face Israel threat: This disunity benefited Israel and its agents in many ways in the past& present days: Just before 1967 was Egypt negotiated with neighbouring Arab nations to face Israel collectively but Western nations tricked Egypt and advised neighbouring Arab nations not to go for a war with Israel & at the same time Israel was advised and supported for its pre-empty attacks on Egyptian Air forces & destroy most of Egyptian air force capabilities: I think this was historically a turning point in this conflict: Since then Arab nations became inferior to Israel military superiority: Since 1967 defeat, Israel has been dominating this conflict and has been aggressively invading Palestinian lands and killing its leaders at its will: Secondly, Israel is now possessing nuclear weapons; It is reported that Israel has more than 200 nuclear warheads & it is supported with sophisticated weapons by European nations more importantly by Americans: Western nations have been supporting Israel unconditionally throughout this conflict, Therefore, it is unlikely that Arab nations could challenge Israel militarily right now: This imbalance of military power is one of the reasons for continuation of this war in such a cruel & barbaric way:

Although Arab nations have been supporting American and western powers unconditionally in many important economical and political issues, Americans have in return done nothing to solve this problem peacefully: American & western nations have been using Arab & Muslim nations as a curry leaf for the last few decades on many issues: They exploit Arab & Muslims natural resources for their economic and political interests and they treat Arab & Muslims nations differently in all aspects of international affairs: Hundreds of diplomatic cases & incidents can be mentioned and quoted in support of such argument form recent diplomatic history of these Arab & western nations: Western nation and American in particular have been undermining Muslim & Arab nations deliberately in for the past few almost in all international affairs: : Shame on Arab & Muslims nations still go behind this imperialism. One How many rounds of talks They have never supported Arab nations in this conflict: Although Arab nations have been supporting western nations in their war against terrorism Yet, Americans do not want help Arab & Muslims in these many other issues: For the last few decades Pakistan has been supporting America for its war against terrorism yet, America deliberately violated sovereignty of Pakistan by attacking inside Pakistan without permission from Pakistan:


Now Muslim & Arab people have no faith & confidence in western nations & particularly in America for their bias and discriminative foreign policies in the middle east & towards Muslim countries in general: This bias policy is more vividly and clearly & openly manifested in its their passive attitude in recent Gaza attack in big scale on innocent people:

Historically speaking Israel is an artificial creation of Western nations in the middle of Muslim land in order to protect western interest in the middle east: That is why Muslims regard Israel as illegitimate occupation of Muslim land : Jewish people were roaming all over Europe before the creation of Israel by western nations in 1948: Even it was suggested that these roaming Jewish people should be settled somewhere in African countries or some other places: Yet, it was British empire that decided to settle them in Palestine: A pledge was made in the Balfour Declaration of 1917 for the creation of Jewish state in the heart of Arab land: “His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object It being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine”. This promise has been maintained by Britain, France and USA for the last few decade: That is why these countries have been supporting Israel in this conflict since its inception at any cost: Thus, Jewish state was created in the middle of Muslim nation to protect political, economic and strategic interests of western nations. Since the creation of Israel British and western nations have been protecting their agent in the middle East: Protecting Israel has been one of main subject matters in the foreign polices of these western nations:

While this is the diplomatic attitude of western nations on this problem. Zionists have been maintaining anti- Arab and Muslims hostility and resentment for years: Here we need to understand the mindset and mentality of Zionists: Zionists strongly believe that that they are the chosen nation on earth and other nations are gentiles on earth,: Historically speaking this has been mentality of Jewish people for many centuries: In that sense, Jewish people are most racist people on earth: Even Christian people are second class people according to this mindset and mentality: Zionist leaders in the past and present time openly advocated this mentality in their rhetorical politics. Joseph Weitz said in 1967 (“ There is no other way than to transfer the Arabs from here to neighboring countries……all of them, not one village, not one tribe, should be left” ).

Gold Meir once said that ( “ There is no such thing as a Palestine people” )

This anti Arab& Muslim sentiment is manifested in many other statements and speeches: “ The only good Arab is dead Arab When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be scurry around like drugged cockroaches” Rafael Eitan, Likud,1981.

What do these statements tell us? It is open secret that Israel with it weapon of mass destruction want to create a greater Zionist empire in the middle east: that could include many Arab nations: To achieve this long term goal it will continue to invade and expand its territories: This is the hidden agenda of this Zionists: Moreover, deep rooted communal hatred and resentment are vividly exposed in these statements; This is not a new trend but this has been deeply rooted in their hierarchical ethnography. This reflects nature of thinking and sentiment of Israel Jewish society today:

Now let us see what is happening in Gaza in the light of this Jewish mentality and anti Arab sentiment; Zionists want to annihilate all Arab settlements and chase them out of Palestine: and they want to do this gradually and step by step and they have done this process of annihilation of Arab settlements so far successfully with support of western nations: That is why it is difficult for Arab people to trust Zionist Israel regime at all: That is the socio-religious and psychological dilemma of this conflict: Confidence building between these two communities is not an easy task: hated and antagonism are deeply rooted in religion, culture, and mentality and behaviours of Zionist people: It would not be an exaggeration in my opinion to describe seven days of horrific and intensive aerial attack on Gaza as a genocide in its brutality and cruelty: Jewish people all over the world are still remembering brutalities of holocaust perpetrated by Hitler & his army in Europe: Holocaust memorial services are offered in most parts of world with Jewish population: Old generation of Jewish people still vividly recall holocaust atrocities and even there is a strong campaign in Europe to demand compensation for holocaust victims & Even some Jewish people demand the political leaderships in Europe to make a public apology for the genocide crimes in the Holocaust: A funny irony is that children of the same holocaust victims are doing same crimes of genocide in its magnitude to innocent people of Gaza: What crime these innocent children, women, elderly people have done to attack them indiscriminately from air in their houses, mosques, schools, universities and public places: Nature of attacks are so brutal in that these attacks are worst than holocaust. Psychological, emotional& physical scars of these attack will remain in the memories of these people for ever: children who grow up with these memories will be immensely affected: yet, we see passive reply of western nations for these brutal attacks:

This hatred attitude is reflected even in negotiation with Israel: : On 30/12/08 European leaders with French initiatives, negotiated an immediate ceasefire for 48 hours: Yet, this was not materialised Israel cabinet decided to continue its attack on Palestine: This reflects hard attitude of Zionists to kill innocent Arab people based on their philosophy of annihilating Arab population from Palestine: Moreover, to achieve its imperialistic goal, Israel is preparing for long weeks of ground offensive to invade Gaza once again: It is horrible and abhorring to see military attitude of Israel in this attack: It is adamant & stubborn to resist and eradicate Hamas with its all military might: Hamas is democratically elected government by the majority of Palestinian people: Why is it that Israel insists that it wants to topple Hamas at this crucial juncture: It is argued that Israel is playing with political card in this conflict and Israel is going to have its election soon and in order to win election Israel government needs to crash Hamas to win the election: This is one postulate proclaimed by some people with regard to ongoing war right now: To win election Israel politicians are playing with lives of thousands of innocent people in Gaza. However, One could expect backlash from Israel public in this crafty campaign as it has happened in Lebanon invasion in the past: That is why Israel is reluctant to send its ground troops in fear that they will be bog down for weeks in Gaza as in the past. Moreover, Israel population do not want see body bags of their young dead soldiers coming home. Second postulate is that Israel sees Hamas as an eternal enemy that wants to wipe out Israel from world map with the help of Iran and Hezbollah: Unlike Fatah Israel sees that negotiation with Hamas is difficult one: But this claim is baseless: Indeed, before six months ago Hamas started negotiation with Israel through Egyptian mediation. Indeed, they agreed to ceasefire and they maintained it for the last six months: But, it was Israel who violated this ceasefire by blocking all supply route and people movements: Even in emergency cases, Sick and elderly people were not allowed to cross the boarders: Israel made people of Gaza starve to death and Israel did punish people of Gaza with most inhuman attitude: One can not image the barbaric nature of Israel cruel behaviours in this regards: Every one knows that yet, Western world in particular maintains silence about these cruelties as their agent does these atrocities in the middle east:
Just two days ago, during this intensive attack, some well wishers from Cyprus got on a boat to deliver some medical items and equipments to the besieged Gaza: Nearly 53 miles away in the international waters, this boat was intercepted by Israel navy and boat was sunk with all medicines: What a Barbarism? What a cruelty? Every one knows about all these atrocities? International community is accountable and responsible for its complicity in this conflict.

Moreover, It is crafty policy of Israel to divide and rule: They like to see more factions among Palestinian people and they want to see internal fighting among these factions: so that they could exploit this situation to expands its occupation more and more. Israel wants to make all its negotiations with Fattah group because it knows well that it could buy this group with cheap price whereas Hamas is concerned they are very much committed & dedicated to the people of Palestine: Israel knows well that most of Arab rulers are dictators and people live like slaves in Arabic countries without any freedom to speak out against injustice and these rulers are there to protect western interest by all means and Abbas is controlled by these Arab & western leaders: They have funded Fattah group with huge amount of money and they have provided arms and weapons to Fattah group to work for them as an agent in Palestine: People in Muslim & Arab world knows these truths well: Even people in West bank know all these crafty policies of Israel and western nations in Palestine; That is why people are very angry about Arab and western nation’s complicity on this issue from the very beginning until now:

A funny irony of Israel Western Media manipulation on this issue is that heavily victimised people of Palestine have been portrayed as aggressors and aggressive invader of Israel leaders are portrayed as peace makers: Why is this miscarriage of justice? Who killed thousands of Palestinians for the last 60 years? Who put thousand of innocent people into Israel jails? Who put democratically elected members of Parliaments into Israel jail? Who have been blocking food & medicine supply to Gaza? Moreover, who got weapons of mass destructions? Who killed 300 innocent people overnight in one day attack? Who are the war mongers? Who violate basic human rights? Who demolish houses of innocent people ? Who bomb schools, mosques and universities? Who grab lands of innocent people? Who is holding 1.5 millions people as hostage in Gaza? Who created an apartheid system in Palestine? All these crimes are done by Zionists and still they are doing these crimes every minutes, yet, they call victimised& weak Palestinians as aggressors? What a lie? What a fabrication? What a manipulation? Do you know why because, most of western nations are influenced by Zionists and most of media agents are controlled by Zionists: : They all speak in four of Israel: look into reaction of world leaders on this ongoing barbarism: America demands Hamas to stop sending missiles and it does not condemn Israel’s action. Britain and Europeans leaders just expressed their concerns about deteriorating situations: No one come up with viable and practical solutions and No one dare take actions against Israel’s war crimes: UN and other international Organisations already under command of these European nations: They could do very little on this issue: Even UN does not send peace keeping force to Palestine because it is under influence of Zionists: Arab leaders are weak & they are unable to influence western leaders: Although, western leaders exploit Arab oil at they wish: It is one sided stories and imbalance of power is very much obvious. Even any one will know this simple fact yet, all world do nothing in front of this aggression?

It is very sad to note that western nations do not stand for justice on this issue: More than three billions dollars military aid is given annually to Israel by USA alone: Most of these fighter gets and sophisticated weapons are given by USA: It is USA weapon that kills these innocent people in Palestine: It was Britain that initially supported Jewish settlement in Palestinian land: They should have moral obligation to settle this problem amicably . Yet, they do not. Will western nations able to bring Israel into court of justice? Will they persuade Israel for a peaceful solution? Will international court of justice charge Israel for crimes against innocent people?

What is the solution for this burning problem: Some argued that Israel should immediately stop this genocide and go back 1967 border as stipulated by UN: This is a demand of some moderate people in the world & they argue that this is only way to find a permanent solution to this problem: However, Will Israel go back to 1967 borders? Will Zionist have such moral obligation to do such generosity? Some others argue that taken into account prevailing conditions on the ground Hamas should stop all its attacks on Israel: This argument is based on general interest of public in Gaza to avoid further casualties: This argument is based on imbalance of power between these two fighting elements: Most of Muslims countries urged Hamas to do this in negotiation with Isaeal: More importantly, Muslims leaders call Hamas & Fattah to unite for good cause of establishing a Palestinian state: Two states solution side by side has been proposed by many nations. But that has not materialised yet: There is no political will at international level to solve this problems: America and its allies have to involve on this issue with honesty and openly: They have to treat Muslim & Arab nation with sense of justice, equality and humanism: Arab & Muslims nation need to rethink its unconditional support for American and its allies: More importantly, public in Arab & Muslim nations should get ready to change its ageing political systems: They need a rapid political change in Arab & Muslim countries: Arab & Muslims have been living for decades under despotism & dictatorship: This political system need to be changed as so as possible to make any meaningful development in Arab world: It is very sad most of Arab & Muslims politicians greedy to cling into power until they die: That is why we see sick and ageing political leaders in Arab countries who do not understand modern developments in world politics: Look at Abbas even after these massacres he wants to cling into politics: If he is a genuine & patriotic politician he would have resign from his post on seeing these mass killings of his own people: He does not want to take responsibilities for this mess rather he points his fingers on Hamas for Israel deliberate genocide: I think it is now high time that Arab & Muslim leaders review their contributions in politics or wait for some grass root political revolutions in these countries: Until people wake up people will be slaves in these countries. - Sri Lanka Guardian
