Reply to the EPDP: In Defense of R.Jayadevan & S.Thavarajah

(December 04, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) It is an irony that the Administrative Secretary which term denotes the person in charge of administration of the EPDP should reply after such a long time. Perhaps, there are no other persons except the Leader and the Administrative Secretary. Is this party an organized party with an office? The head office at Park Road itself is under legal battle and the EPDP was asked to quit by the Court. Due to abuse of power they are in contempt of Court. Even the Courts have been suppressed.

Rajasingam Jayadevan wrote having obtained information from S.Thavarajah who has sought political asylum in London. In his asylum application, Thavarajah has made all the allegations against Mr. Douglas Devananda and the EPDP.

Thavarajah was a Member of Parliament from the EPDP and was later the Private Secretary to Mr.Devananda. He fled from Sri Lanka through fear and his asylum application states that Devananda tried to kill him. All the questions asked by Jayadevan are answered in the Asylum application of Thavarajah now a close associate and friend of Jayadevan. In fact, these articles would help Thavarajah.

The truth of the reply by A.Rajamanicam can only be put to test if either S.Thavarajah replies or if Dr.Wignesawaran replies. These are victims of the EPDP. Rajamanicam would have had to reply being still with the EPDP. So his reply is invalid. His reply also mentions that Dr.T.Rajaratnam was not authorized to reply on behalf of the EPDP. Why did Rajaratnam not reply? These questions were deliberately put to him because he claimed that Devananda is a gentleman. He also mentioned that EPDP is alien to him which was a fact that he was distancing himself because he preferred not to commit himself or vouch for their credibility. Anyway, Dr.T.Rajaratnam will soon learn about Devananda if he has not learnt already.

It was S.Thavarajah who has been giving information to Jayadevan. We all know who Dr.T.Rajaratnam is. He is a stooge of the Government and a servant of President Rajapakse. His former wife who lives in the US would testify that he is in the inner circle Group of President Rajapakse and is a die hard supporter of President Rajapakse.

Since Jayadevan would not let down his friend a friend from the Solicitors Office who are Lawyers for Thavarajah would publish the same within the next few days as this would help Thavarajah as well. Thavarajah has sworn an affidavit. Thavarajah is well respected among the Tamil Diaspora in London. Both Thavarajah and Jayadevan are frequent invitees to all Tamil Meetings as they are well respected in London and the Europe. - Sri Lanka Guardian
