by Rajasingham Jayadevan
(November 24, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) I refer to the two articles under the captions of ‘Jayadevan has no Moral Right to Challenge Minister Devananda’ and ‘Do not abuse the Country’s sovereignty’ published in the Sri Lanka Guardian written under two questionable names. I do not wish to respond to the campaign of insinuation and slander, which has all the hallmarks of the person unable to think seriously or systematically or to consider important things claimed in my candid statement published recently.
Let the public be the judges for this ignoramus campaign let loose to undermine the pertinent issues raised in my previous claim under the same heading Rajasingham Jayadevan vs. Douglas Devananda.
Will Dr Tellipalai C Rajaratnam LL.B (SL). LL.M (Lond)., PhD (Lond), now respond to the specific questions raised therein my statement, which I detail herein for his candid response without venturing on a fishing expedition?
My specific questions were: would this eminent lawyer and prominent government servant answer the following questions with a simple yes or no.
Is the EPDP paramilitary group responsible for introducing ‘White van abduction culture in Colombo and Jaffna?
Who was responsible for killing the former editor of ‘Eela Murasu’ at Station road, Wellawatte?
Is the EPDP paramilitary group enjoying the impunity to violate the human rights of the Tamils?
Did the EPDP paramilitary group murder Maheswaran M.P?
Did the EPDP paramilitary group murder BBC reporter Nimalaraj?
Did the EPDP paramilitary group cause serious bodily harm to Sivajilingam MP belonging to the TNA?
Did the EPDP paramilitary group threaten the doctors working in Vavuniya to hand over millions of rupees to the group?
Was Douglas Devanada responsible for organizing the Hartal and demonstrations in the Tamil areas to put pressure on the Indian government at the behest of the President?
Will the EPDP stop its campaign of terror against the Tamils?
Has Douglas Devananda or his proxies taken over the lucrative business of shipping goods to Jaffna after the murder of Maheswaran. MP? - Sri Lanka Guardian
