(November 03 , Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) Tamilnadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi today alleged that former Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa has clandestine links with LTTE through MDMK leader Vaiko.
He wondered as to why no AIADMK cadre was present when former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated at Sriperumbudur in 1991. In a statement here, Pomudi said, ‘Jayalalithaa is trying to create a divide between Congress and the DMK by portraying the DMK as an LTTE-friendly party.
In spite of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s repeated claim that they were only supporting the suffering Tamils in Sri Lanka, Jayalalithaa is continuing her false propaganda.
Since she enjoys nexus with LTTE, neither she nor her party cadre was present when Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated, he said. - Sri Lanka Guardian
